Maybe Baby (film)
''Maybe Baby'' (released in the Philippines as ''Sex Bomb'') is a 2000 British comedy film starring Hugh Laurie and Joely Richardson. It marks the second time Laurie and Richardson have starred in the same film; the first was ''101 Dalmatians'' (although in that film they shared no scenes). It was written and directed by Ben Elton, with Laurie directing some scenes in an uncredited role, and based upon Elton's 1999 novel, '' Inconceivable''. Receiving a mixed critical reaction, the film did poorly at the box office, despite a cast including many of the best-known names within comedy in Britain. ''101 Dalmatians'' is a 1996 American adventure comedy film produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Great Oaks Entertainment, and distributed by Buena Vista Pictures Distribution. Dave Thompson (born 30 June 1959) is an English actor, stand-up comedian and writer, who made headlines in July 1997 after being removed from the role of Tinky Winky in the children's television series, ''Teletubbies'' after 70 episodes. The BBC said in a letter to Thompson that his "interpretation of the role was not acceptable". Thompson recounted bursting into tears upon learning the news of his termination.
